API Explorer
Interactive reference for both PrivacyFlow API surfaces. The Public API tab lets you send real requests with an API key. The Account API tab reads your dashboard session cookie automatically — log in at /auth first.

Getting started with the Public API
- 1 Log in to the dashboard — authenticate via Signal, SimpleX, or Session to get your session cookie.
- 2 Go to Credentials → New Credential to create an API key (
pf_live_...). See the step-by-step guide. - 3 Go to Apps and create or verify an app. Your credential is scoped to one or more appIds — see managing apps.
- 4 Return here, click Authorize below, and paste your
pf_live_...key.
