Privacy Policy
Last Updated: December 25, 2025
Our Commitment to Privacy
At PrivacyFlow, we take privacy seriously. We built this service specifically to minimize data collection while providing a useful messaging aggregation platform. This policy explains what little information we do collect and why.
Information We Collect
Essential Service Data
We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate our service:
- Messenger Contact IDs: A numeric identifier provided by messaging platforms (Signal, Session, SimpleX) to route messages to your account. This is just a number - we don't collect your name, phone number, or any personal identifiers.
- Rate Limiting Metrics: We track the number of requests per minute/second to enforce fair usage and prevent abuse. This is aggregated data without message content.
- Webhook URLs: The destination where you want messages delivered (e.g., your server endpoint).
- Account Status: Whether your account is on the Free or Pro plan for billing purposes.
What We Do NOT Collect
- No message content: We never store, log, or access the actual content of your messages
- No personal identifiers: No names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses
- No metadata: No timestamps of individual messages, recipient information, or conversation details
- No tracking: No cookies, analytics, or third-party tracking scripts
- No payment information: When you pay with cryptocurrency, we don't collect any personal billing details
How We Use Your Information
We use the minimal data we collect to:
- Route messages between messaging platforms and your specified webhooks
- Enforce rate limits to ensure service stability
- Determine feature access based on your plan (Free vs Pro)
- Maintain service operation and troubleshoot technical issues
Data Storage and Security
- All data is encrypted at rest and in transit
- We use industry-standard security practices to protect against unauthorized access
- Data is stored only on secure servers with limited access
- We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties. Period.
The only exceptions are:
- When required by law (though given our minimal data collection, there's very little to share)
- To comply with a valid legal request from messaging platforms we integrate with
Your Rights
Given our minimal data collection, there's not much data to request or delete, but you have the right to:
- Request information about what data we have (likely just your contact ID and webhook)
- Request deletion of your data (which essentially means deleting your account)
- Export any data we have about you
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy occasionally. We'll notify users of material changes via the messaging platforms or through our service.
Contact
If you have questions about this privacy policy or our data practices, you can reach us through any of the messaging platforms we support.
TL;DR
We collect almost nothing - just a number to route messages, rate limit counts, your webhook URL, and whether you've paid. That's it.
